Alternator Install
So I've been battling the dead truck blues lately. The truck was starting to die if it wasn't started every month, then every week, then every day, and now it wouldn't run at all. I replaced the batteries, after having them tested, and then it worked fine for a little. Then today I ordered a new alt, and went to start the truck to take it in....nothing. Jumped it, started it, died when the cable took of. (this confirmed my theory of the alt being a problem too)
So About the install,
It was really smart of DC to put the alt in a very easy place to locate. I had the Hayes manual, and that was a pretty straight forward manual. It only took a little bit of time, and now the truck works perfect!!!!
Sorry for this being so long, but hopefully it'll help someone with a similar problem.
