Juice or injectors..which one first?

I'm hearing conflicting stories about the sequence of adding the mods. As I'm going to use the JWA for my guages, so I'm a bit unclear in the order of installation. The conventional wisdom says injectors first, yet I've read the JWA first, as you can't turn injectors off. I have the 4" turbo back already, so that should take care of cooling the little injectors no?

Should it be :
1) JWA
2) FP relocation (or Vulcan, or Walbro 391 or something except FASS)
3) RV275's (or 1.6 or DDT or whatever)

or what do you think? There will be about a month or two in between additions, but I get to do the first one now (hurry, before Momma changes her mind!!)

I would do the juice first so you have your gauges. then you can get used to the numbers and power. then add the injectors.

That is the order that I would do it if I did it again. I used the Vulcan kit and got 16 idle, 13-14 normal, and 10 WOT for $138 using the same factory lift pump that has been on there for years. I'd go that route unless you are really going for power, 500+ or so. $.02.

Injectors first is for HO engines.... plus you need the gauges. Your will do best with the JWA first...and at least a big line kit for fuel pressure.
Your tranny won't like all the Juice can throw at it...but the juice will be fun!

I agree with 4X4dually and DMcPherson. The juice gives you the advantage of guages which is the perfect place to start. I also recommend the Vulcan Big Line Kit. After this, see how your auto tranny handles the power and go from there.

Sorry, Rj's right. I neglected to mention your tranny. The juice spun my stock clutch in 3rd on level 3-3. I'm not a auto-shifter guy, so definetly do a search for tranny mods. Those aught to eat up your budget.

I should have mentioned, I have no intention of tapping the VP.........
Welll, for as long as I can stand it anyways.

Actually, the goal is a bit more power for towing the bass boat with the camper on my back. I really don't want to blow up the tranny, but, when that day comes and I install something beefy, it will be a matter of mere seconds to the tapping of the VP, but will then, be waiting for the demise of the VP44..*sigh*
