Does anyone know what the specs are on a 96 Dodge Cummins alternator. Does it have a voltage regulator in it or is it external? Also it has the two small posts above the big Positive terminal but there is no markings of what they are like F or S. I am trying to get it wired up to my 95 F350 so any help would be greatly appreciated. <br><br>Best Regards,<br>Richard

I could be wrong , but I believe the dodge alt. is controlled by the computer. I think you would be better off using the f**d alt. The pulley from the dodge will fit the f**d alt. with an extra washer under the nut. Then make your own mounts or buy some from F**D-CUMMINS.com. If you are using the fd a/c then the fd alt. is supossed to bolt up where the dodge a/c was. Hope this helps. Good luck with your conversion. I love mine. I will be changing ijectors next week for more power. You can never have too much power.
