I have heard there is a pin that can break in the pump if the rack moves to far forward. Some do, some dont..

here i meant the AFC rack! Not the plate! the gov arm moves untill it hits the plate though!

the screw as a round head, but that same screw has a 10 mm but on in that keeps it tight!
if its a 96 and up, itll have a little plastic ring around it, break it away with putting a flat screw driver! then loosen it with a 10 mm, and turn it in with the fingers!

if its a 94 and or 95, its a lot harder, hmmm need to figure out how to explain it! i have done it so often already!

i tried this today with the afc foot. noticed some increase in smoke but not as much as i though. My turbo spools up a heck of a lot quicker. also now in park or nuetral during a free rev i make about 10 psi of boost, before i couldnt make any! this is pretty sweet... but will this cause any problems in my pump seeing as i cant replace it....
i dont have the money right now or id have a nice new built up tranny!!

One can build boost in neutral with no load? I thought there had to be a load against the engine in order to build boost?

i make 10 psi in neutral but it is totally pointless. With the auto you cant drop it into gear cuz itll be destroyed...lol, but yah i make 10 psi in neutral now. only since i removed that afc foot and the turbo lights at lolwer rpms....

I can make 6psi in neutral w/ stock plate in stock location, afc slid forward and starwheel loose, w/cat convertor and muffler.
Does'nt do a bit of good for anything, like Ramdriver said the auto would selfdestruct if you pulled it into gear.

My auto is already doing that with out dropping it into gear. I dk how long it is gonna last but its getting bad....i got the nastiest shudder and it kicks in as soon as i hit the throttle and reach 17-2200 rpms. Im gonna be needing a new one soon!!!
