Well if some one has not done it yet i cant find it. I have been searching for a list of all the free 12v mods possible. so far this is what i have found and done...
1)fuel plate grinding/ sliding
2)Star wheel
3)GSK
4)Pinching the wastegate line
5)silencer ring

Lets see if any one can come up with more and make a total list at the end of the thread!

pulling out the "snorkel" between the air filter box and fender, drilling holes in the lower section of the air box.
i found this one tonight, and its stuff like this that intrigues me and makes me love this site even more... people have their own little tricks with things on these 12v trucks...

u got all the free stuff listed right there....gsks will cost u some though...u can also wire-up a TC lock-up switch...that costs u nothing...after that u start lookign at a lil bit of money....ie injectors...delivery valves...gsks.....then you'll need a TC/tranny and eventually a bigger turbo....then the insanity begins

A 3K gsk can be considered "free" as well. It can be done with just a couple 1/2 inch washers IIRC

3' of straight pipe is fairly cheap. You can do some grinding on the AFC arm too but this is a permanent mod. You would have to find a new afc to change it back..
