Do any of you know where I can obtain a set of air inflatable
shock absorbers for my 2002 Dodge CTD?? I am aware of
the "Air Lift" and "Firestone" Air Bags for our trucks but
am interested in a set of air shock absorbers. J.C. Whitney
lists them but when I called them they said the air shocks
are not available for the later model Dodge trucks.

Others can correct me, but I recall being told by a couple of reputable folks that air shocks do not have the beef or durability for use with full size trucks above the half-ton range. Nor is the load range suited for these trucks. And last time I checked -- about six years ago, admittedly -- no brand had more than a one-inch shaft and a standard, oil-filled bore.

Just by way of info., I have the Airlift bags and a set of KYB Monomax's on the rear. Has done great for 25K miles & towing a 30 foot trailer over dirt roads, etc.
