Air In The Lines?
Air In The Lines?
Ive got a p0463 code, and air in my lines. bled most of the lines and battery went dead. i let it sit for 30 min got a jump and lines already had air. finally got it started but every time i kill it and let it set i does the same thing
My question is where is the most common or likely place for air to be coming in. THANKS

Well i think i have narrowed it down to the vp. last night i un hooked my holley thinkin it could be that. but when i went to bleed the lines i noticed that the lift pump was pushing fuel through the vp and was flowing through the lines when i wasn't turning the truck over.
is this supposed to happen

yeah because the vp is firing those injectors at the moment. Thats the easiest way to bleed air out without running your batteries dead, just touch the starter and let the LP cycle, it may take 10 times or so, but it wont kill your battery.
The computer cuts back the fuel pulse to the LP while the engine is cranking so that its easier to start, but slows the flow when your trying to bleed the air.
