Has anybody tried to put an aftermardet lift pump on their truck with the intank pump installed? My local dealer thinks it can be done if you blow approx. 100psi of air back through the fuel line to blow out the one way valve in the intank pump.

 

I wouldn't do it, that is a shure fire way of damageing the tank. But thats only my $.02
