After market LP related question

I have ordered ISSPRO FP, Trans temp and pyro gauges along with my pillar mount. I already have the campaign LP under my back seat in case I need it. I was planning on putting a Vulcan big line relocation kit on the campaign pump. But then I decided to go with the FASS system instead (after X-mas). Would there be any benefit to using the Vulcan bigline kit with the FASS? I have read that the 3/8 line is a weak point in the system from the tank to the LP. What are my options in getting as much fuel as safely possible to the IP?

With my FASS, I went with the 3/8th to the LP and to the VP44 and have never starved the engine of fuel. Now, I'm using a Smarty and RV275 injectors and ran the EZ with the same injectors before..

As far as I know, you can use the FASS with larger lines. The Vulcan kit comes with 1/2" lines. There is no reason why you couldn't use the FASS in addition to the Vulcan relocation kit. The only difference would be the pumps.

The FASS and HPFP come with 3/8's line. This is more than enough with the FASS and HPFP. They are a stronger pump than the stock Carter so they can move the fuel though the line with out issue. AND you get plenty of fuel with 3/8's line. NOW with that being said....we do set the FASS and HPFP up with ½” NPT ports. This allows you to pretty much run any size line you want. SO you can run the Vulcan kit if you wish....and I bet that if you asked Eric he could get you the necessary fittings to make this work. He knows our kits well.

My Vulvan big line/relo kit came with some extra fittings to use with a FASS if I had one, at least that is what the instructions said. I have no idea if they would work or not, but suposedly the are the adapters that make it all fit together.

Thanks for the replies. My truck has been bone stock for too long. I have had my BHAF on it for over two years now. The trans has already been built to tow. Thinking of going with an Edge EZ or Smarty. Haven't decided yet. I want to have everything in place gauge and fuel supply wise before increasing performance. I will ordering a boost gauge and steering column pod as well so that I can monitor everything.
If I put a box on and change injectors, will the 3/8 line be enough? I will more than likely go ahead with the 1/2 line to be safe anyway no more than it costs.

3/8" FASS lines feed my truck very nicely so should work for you! But if your staying with the stock lift pump, I like the idea of the 1/2 lines .... for a bigger fuel reservoir to the VP-44 to reduce cycling on the lift pump.

I cut the stock line just in front of the tank, and used a hose clamp.
OR...
You can by a Draw Straw from Vulcan and go right from the tank.
I don't know about the wiring stuff for the pump. I am just using the stock pump.
