Edbb Edge BB Jammer

Does anyone know anything about the edge bb jammer turbo? Like how much it decreased egt's and horse power gains.

horsepower gains and EGT decreases are all based on the truck it went on and what has been done to it.
for the money you spend on one of these turbos, you could get yourself a nice HTT turbo and possibly a manifold to boot.

Talking edge bb turbo

I have been running my jammer turbo for about 3 months 5k miles. It spools a little slower than my HX35 but not real noticable. Pulls hard on top but acts like it wants more fuel. EGTs are in the 1250 to 1350 range when I'm on it hard. Still cooler than my stocker when towing 12k trailer. Boost is about the same as stock 28-32 psi.

i talked at length with edge about that turbo when i was shopping over the summer for one. the downside is the special downpipe required, which would not mate to my pacbrake. that was a necessity for me.

Yeah, Im eyeballing the Jammer too. Seen lots of great writeups around the web, but little first hand scoop. You saying it needs bigger injectors Doc? Im trying not to go bankrupt.....

I think it would like bigger injectors. I think I'm going to put some 150's in and see what happens. The price isn't bad for injectors these days. If you shop around you can find a good deal. The turbo isn't bad either price wise. It comes with all the parts you need. Most the other turbo's you find don't even come with down pipes. You have to pay extra for them. The prices seem cheaper for other turbo's until you start adding the price of the necessary parts that aren't included.

Is it comparable to a super 62?
What is the price for a new one?

NO! It's more along the lines of a stock replacement/mild upgrade! Under 400-450hp!

It is not a "RACE" turbo by any means! It has been compared to a HX40 in size, but performs better. From all of the research I have done it is a good towing turbo. That is what I mainly use it for. I paid $1450 for mine. Just for info it does not have a waste gate. 4" strait out of the turbo.

So mine for $850 brand new with the DP wasn't bad then, huh? Good!

I'm gonna put it on the 95 to try towing with it...but I'm gonna put my extrnal wastgate on it when I do!
