Question Edge Jammer Nozzles

Found some edge jammer nozzles on ebay for $239 for stage 3's and $260 for stage 5's. Wondering if these are good nozzles. Will just a perf. valve body hold em? Thought these were awful cheap so just wanted to see if this deal was a little shady

Seems like a good price to me. I payed like $270 or something for my stage 4s. I run mine with my Comp on 5x5 alot and my tranny is COMPLETELY stock. Ive even done 4hi launches , but its starting to slip now. Be careful if you decide on 5s and you still have a stock turbo. Might be pushin your EGTs!

A good quality valve body, properly set up, has held up to 370 hp that I am personally aware of. It was a DTT. Really depends on how strong your tranny is to start with.

I have 120hp. injectors (Bully Dog) I payed $600. I could have gotten 225hp. injectors for $1,000. I like bully dog and all the people that I have known they like them better over the jammer injectors.

I'm running just a DTT VB and I put down 371hp with a comp and 275's. I was/am pretty hard on my tranny. I like to flip the lockup switch and lug the engine down real low (bad for the tranny) on 5x5 just to see the smoke. I highly recommend you upgrading the VB. It's well worth the money. I just put a set of 100+hp injectors in my truck and I'm running the comp on EZ and so far it's holding great. I've been beating on it and lugging it and it's still holding. I'm curious to see how much power it will hold though. That grey wire on the comp is awfully lonely. It won't hurt the tranny to much to slip it just once, will it?

BB- is the poll still open on how long your tranny will last?
You made it longer than I predicted already.

Hoob,

While that is a little less than Edge likes to see them being sold it's not a steal or anything. We can make you that price and be here if you need any help down the road. The VB will be on the edge (no pun intended) if you don't upgrade it, so keep that in mind for sure. Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help you.

Nope...Bully Dog's injectors are extrude honed, Jammers are EDM injectors. The extrude honed injectors are fine, they are just kinda old technology. More smoke, higher EGT etc. than a EDM injector.

Yeah. I'm half tempted to test the limits on my tranny. I'm curious if I'm putting down more power, less power, or the same power as I was before. Boost, EGT's, fuel pressure is all the same at WOT as before so I don't know. Guess I'll have to dyno to find out. If it's less, that wire is getting tapped.

I have the BD 130's and i think they are edge jammer tips resold. I like the inj but my stock clutch doesn't. I need to get a different turbo aswell. I think they were money well spent for the guys who can't aford the higher end inj.

diesel dynamics injectors and edge nozzles are one in the same ifyou look at the part number edge has it is dd0050 for stage 5 which would be the same as the megamentals
compare at 279 for edge nozzles and 1000 for megamentals
the ultimate fueling box that dd has is the same as the edge drag comp imo
