Who put the piano string across the exhaust tip on that sound bite? Sounds good! I knew your "g" string would come in handy!

Everytime my buddy Shane breaks a string at a band gig, I always use the "he just broke his "G" sting" gag. He's a large fellow and it always get beer out someone's nose....

around 1600 IIRC. I'm looking at the Stage 2 as well. We need feedback!! The next bomb on my truck is gonna be a turbo. Just not sure on which flavor.

I just put a Stage 3 on my truck on Saturday, You can see what I have done to my truck in my sig. But I can tell you I love this turbo. Before I was running a Custom Scheid s400 made for street use but was able to be sled pulled with also. The Scheid turbo couldnt even clean up I had smoke all of the time, plus I was making like 70psi with that turboand still temps were up towards 1900 going down the track, and also with the Scheid charger it was a real pain to spool on the street. Now with this Garrett it starts to spool at 1400 rpm on the street, extremely fast compared to the scheid. Also the most boost I have had is 40psi and at that psi their is no smoke what so ever. This charger definately moves alot of air. I havent had a chance to pull with it yet but the highest egt I have seen is 1300 where as with the scheid charger I would have easily seen 1700-1800. So thats my thoughts on the Garrett Powermax Stage 3 Charger. If you have any more questions please PM me.

Curt

CBB centers scare me in a diesel application w/ all the soot in the oil... buddy's truck lost two high dollar garrett ceramic turbos shortly after break-in...
