AFE Torque Tube Work on Stock 02 Filter Housing?

Question say's it all. I'm just wondering if it would work or do you have to have a after market filter set up? Tanks -R-

Don't waste your money. I wouldn't think it'd seal up good plastic on plastic anyhow.

It will seal as it comes with rubber couplings and new clamps and should also fit with stock box...best to just go with a bhaf or afe stage 1 intake as the torque tube alone wont be as noticeable much less with an after market filter

Hey Thanks for the replies. For now I'm just look'in to replace that stock flex hose connection, and free up some air flow with a AFE Super Stock Filter. I already pulled the silencer ring and can now hear that little HY-35 for the first time. Hopefully I'll hear a little more with this set-up.

You're not going to gain anything by just replacing the hose. Actually, you're not going to gain anything from just an intake on a stock motor. The reason I got a BHAF is because it filters better than the stock airbox and sounds cool. If I were you, I wouldn't waste money on the torque tube or AFE super stock filter. Just dish out half that and get a BHAF.

It will make it louder but add nothing performance wise. I have a partially melted one sitting on the shelf
