AFE difference

I was looking to replace the stock filter with an AFE direct replacement. When I went to their web page there are two different designs listed for 2nd generation. Besides for the obviously physical differences in the pictures are there any performance differences between the two???

Both are drop in replacements:

or

IMO, that is not an upgrade from the stock filter. The stock Air box doesnt seal well - so this isnt a good a solution.

If your looking for an upgrade, go with a BHAF or a washable BHAF (AFE ProDry S or AEM DryFlow).

Yeah, I know it doesnt answer your questions.
