How much of a difference is their really between the standard AFE and the Pro Gaurd 7 ? I'm refering to the drop unit that replaces the stock paper unit.

Posted this a while ago but it's very relative to your question. Any 4 layer gauze filter will basically operate at the same level dirt stopping wise, the Pro Guard 7 system is totally different, go to www.afeproguard7.com and check it out.
