Adrenaline Issue!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, I pulled the edge of and installed the adrenaline tongiht, and just got done taking it for a spin. With the stock tune that came on the box, all i have to say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My truck pulls like a crazy SOB. Fueling is pretty good besides some missing at 1800 rpms(probably due to using the stock tune). So I went to dwonload a new tune, 2018. Got it downloaded opened it up, followed the instructions and when my computer went to install the drivers I got an error message saying that "the file usbser.sys driver cabinet is needed. It then asks to type a file path. I thought it might just be my laptop, so I tried my desktop, same outcome. They are both running windows XP. I am at a loss right now, i really want to try out some of those aggresive tunes. Thanks in advance guys and THANKS QUAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This box is amazing.

http://www.quadzillapower.com/downlo..._2-21-2008.pdf Did you read this?? ( i think it is compatible with Vista now) When it failed to download, I believe it should've generated a error message (usually puts it right on ur desktop), copy that message and e-mail it to Quadzilla and they should be able to help you. Maybe Quad will chime in here and help ya out.

Try this.

it may seem obvious but here are all the steps i took to load a new update...

1) DL .NET Framework from microsoft.com
2) Restart the Computer
3) click the [Download] button for the tune you want
4) Saved the file to the desktop
5) opened the file
6) plugged in the adrenaline to the USB and Computer
7) clicked [Get Information] box (brings up what tune you currently have)
8) clicked [Update] - not sure but its the button on the bottom right
9) it would do its thing then it would say "Update Complete!"
10) clicked [Get Information] again to make sure the appropriate tune was on there

the time it didnt work, i got a long error message with e big red circle with an "X" inside of it, in the upper left corner. so i restarted the computer and plugged the USB into a different port and followed the same procedure about (less 1-4 b/c it wasnt needed)

I tried running it again, it wont even recognize the module. I can't install the drivers for the module because I keep getting that same error on both my computers. I am at a loss here, any other ideas?

Try hitting the "update module" or the "get information from module" then plug in the usb connection quickly....like within a second. That seems to be the secret for me.

Tried it, didn't work. I can't even complete the hardware wizard and install the drivers because of that error message I'm getting.

Try shutting your computer down, then restart it & do the plug trick when the screen says searching for module.

Quad told a few guys before to first try downloading ADR1000 file & make sure that you get a successful download. Try running that file.

Same outcome, my computer runs the hardware wizard every time I plug it in, and the flash program can't find the module. This is starting to get frustrating, that it is doing it across multiple computers, it might be hardware related to the box itself. Hopefully I don't have to send the box in(I don't want to run stock!!!)

Do you hear a beep when you plug the module in?
