That's what my truck feels like when it does this--almost just like a rev limiter at 3200 rpm, especially in 2nd gear. There's a guy on cumminsforum thats having the same problem.

You wont smoke with M6 done been there , now they are a good stick but they have there own purpose IMO . If your making 50+ with them you should be fine on the road/dyno and looks like u have a HO ? Smoke is funny thing some like it some dont and it has a purpose to depending on application IMO

Mine pops and shutters like a rev limiter. It just has a ton of power and smokes like a train. I still am very ify about the dyno tune because justin at quad told me "Its still being refined some. DO NOT drive around with this tune. It has the potential to cause some undesirable symptoms, it may run the pump out of fuel if your not careful." that was the whole email he sent me in regards to it.

I'm pretty sure it's only at WOT but I'll go for a drive tomorrow and test it out again to make sure.

WOT could be 1000rpm, 2000rpm etc. I have never had a box do this when it is not at the limiter.

What you are hearing is just the rev limiter. We are just fueling so hard it bounces off and startsa fueling then bounces off again it happens really fast.

That is easy to stop as well though.

It is more like a fuel limiter but, yes, they have one.

I have been unable to do totally defeat it without killing the truck or setting all sorts of codes. I hit 4211 rpms yesterday but, it killed the truck afterwards.

Tested some more.

At WOT in 2nd gear it will do it a 3200 on the mark every time. 3rd and 4th won't do it at WOT but will do it around 2900 and up under moderate throttle.

This is with the 2000 tune.
