Adrenaline engine stutter at WOT

I ve had my adrenaline on for about 6 weeks now and really like its power. I am having an issue with the engine stuttering at WOT. As soon as it hits red line the engine wants to cut out. I even tried a file they sent me where we have been trying to figure this out that shut the engine off. Dont have much surging anymore with the newer files and power is unbelievable. I also saw an o1 dually pulling at TS Perf. in Bowlingreen and he had the adrenaline on and his engine stuttered at redline. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how to cure.

It's most likely valve float. Mine does it when I don't pay attention and don't shift early enough. It sure sounds nasty.

My truck stutters with Aggressive 2000 tune on PL 5 or higher if i try to hold a constant RPM above 2700 or so. In my case, it is just fueling, no fueling, fueling, no fueling. With the non aggressive tunes, this does not happen. Nor does it happen WOT like you are describing.

My old Juice/ATT Hot would stutter wot in the higher RPMs. I never did figure that one out. I at first thought it was my wastegate fluttering, then I thought it was my clutch slipping. Then I got the Adrenaline and it went away.

Ramble... ramble... sorry not much help.

Are you talking about my dually ?? maroon with big duals ? I was usen the ADR I had it on the 2000 tune hoping it wouldnt cut out but it did starting around 2800 through mid trac I was just trying to hold it under 3000 but thats kinda hard to do with a sled gaining weight on you near the end it hit 3600 and started to fuel but it broke the clevis .. He has some newer tunes that some of us are testing and the studder is getting better pretty smooth up to 3600+ . Now at WFO on the road it doesnt stumble or anything till 3600 witch is good for drag racers you can do that but for some of us who need a little throttle control in the upper RPMS its still not just there yet little more time and this will b a good box lots of options

btw its not valve float

Well, I think mine's valve float because it's more like a loud popping, sounds like it's backfiring out the stacks, along with the studdering and jerking. Usually starts around 3200rpm in 2nd gear.

Its popping cause theres not enough fuel in those RPMS and being in 2nd at that hi of the RPM range your loosing the load u need so to compensate that u need fuel

Interesting. With the little turbo and all the fueling I didn't figure I'd ever run out lol.

Yup, that's exactly what my truck is doing, even at times with the 2000 tune.
