The other point is i haven't had all the maintenance problems the rest of you have had with the dodge front end yet either, mine only has 80,000 on the ticker. Did i mention i love my Dodge and i wish i would have bought it sooner.

Thats one reason I don't mind mixing parts. I hate the Ford interior...very uncomfortable for me. But I have a friend with a '99 F-350, and man, that thing drives SO much nicer than my Ram. I have never been over 74 mph with my truck (my GPS keeps track of highest speed.) At around 72 I get driveline vibes pretty bad. By 75 I get death wobble. I'm an auto mechanic, trained, ASE certified, and a degree in Automotive Tech. I've been through my entire drivetrain, and there is nothing left thats worn or sloppy, and the alignment is right on. I have been in my friend's Ford diesel, and on our way back from Ohio, towing a trailer with a race car on it, we were playing with his new controller. We had the truck AND trailer up to tripple digit speeds (on a completely empty highway at 3am...so please, no safety comments), and it tracked nice and true, no vibes, etc. And personally, I don't think it rides any worse than my Dodge. Maybe a bit more firmly, but not bad. And if I didn't want firm, I wouldn't have bought a 2500 diesel.Just chock it up to personal preference.
