powerwagon440:

I would recommend either a set of 215 or 300 injectors
for your friend. They can be found pretty easily for the
12 valve trucks and the price is very resonable.

--------
John_P

still cant change the turbo not enough money at the moment just enough money for injectors! i just want to get the best for what he is running now! so the truck will still perform great! so 300 would be the best route to go with his set up?

Re:95 ctd more power.

With his setup I would say go with the 300's. They are supposed to have a better spray pattern and draivability is also supposed to be better. If you go 370's you may also have to change delivery valves. I did run the 370's with the stock turbo but they run much better with a bigger turbo. Good Luck

Re:95 ctd more power.

The 300s would be a good choice. More fuel will also make the turbo spool harder. You just have to be careful to not get into way high EGTs.

You didn't mention what fuel plate he has now, so a hotter one might also be an option.

For more air without spending as much as a whole turbo, you can install the HX40 compressor housing and wheel. That will make the turbo a "hybrid", and will move more air at the same rpms as before. You can buy the parts for about $200. A good little boost controller will help set the maximum boost right where you want it.

Re:95 ctd more power.

My fuel plate from Piers has the number stamped on it. You could pull the AFC housing and have a look.

Some of the plates won't have any markings, but if you can post a photo we should be able to tell you which it is.

Re:95 ctd more power.

A friend of mine just installed 300 marine injectors. He already had a stage 4 bullydog torque plate and 4" exhaust. The injectors added a real kick and the egt's are still in check. The smoke is moderate and when the stock hx-35 spools up it clears up. His is a 94 ctd 4x4 with 5 speed manual. Hope this helps.
