64/14 silver bullet

I had the guys at the diesel shop near me order me a new turbo and i found out last night that it is a 64/14 silver bullet phat shaft. They know my truck well and have worked on it before so I told them to get the one that would work the BEST for towing, around 5-8k daily, AND daily driving with fuel mileage. The 97 in my sig is the one it will go in, but im afraid I wont be able to spool it up. It is gonna be put in monday along with a 3gsk and timing to 16*. Is this gonna work ok?

I'd personally expect it to be too much turbo, but what do I know. The GSK helps, but it's still gonna want to spool at higher RPM than is fun for towing.

I have to have the truck to tow the work trailer, but im also starting to use the truck for sled pullin. Im in stock class now, but once the turbo is in, im in the super stock slass. Will it be ok for that? Is it gonna be too muck for me still even after my dv's and new head are in? I guess what im asking is will it work for an all around use?
