How are you going to get 600 on a single, then want to combo?

it would be a lag pig on the bottom really not that hard to do, it has been done more than a few times.

i would venture to say something like

sledpuller 66 or bigger turbo
mach 6's or maybe even bigger
edge drag comp and MAD ecm with no timing
OR TST PM3 Competition version fueling box stacked with a timing box like VA
gonna need head studs and maybe o-rings on the head
serious tranny/clutch to hold it
good intake/filter
5"exhaust

i know the combo above willo give well over 500...but it may be pushing it to get 600...add some serious money in there for head porting & polishing, and a cam and you got your 600 for sure.

Can be done.

The list above would work...but I would replace the turbo with a Full B-1 or an HX-55/16 from JR Adkins.

I would not do it on an automatic and expect to drive it every day on the street.

For expert advise from someone who has done it - talk to Olie Poole...

At the MASON DIXON TURBO DIESEL CLUB FALL BRAWL in Dillsburg Pa. at KAUFFMANS MOTOR SPORTS there was a 98.5 single charger truck that did 605. Thanks Steve B.

It can be done and be streetable here is what will work....

A good motor and injection pump
Either a Steroid B-1 or a SPS66 turbo
Formula 1 mach 6 injectors
Edge drag comp or a Redline box
AFE mega-cannon filter

This combo will work well with an auto tranny. The standard B-1 or an HX55 will not supply enough air to reach the 600 RWHP mark.

thanks for tying to help me tho, atleast i got some response lol. but thanks for your replys on the turbo question, seems like every where else i ask they think i'm crazy for trying to use a single charger and they all just say to go twins. i just can't see myself spending 4 times the cost of a single to get twins just to get rid of a little lag. i would spray a little 50 shot of nitrous to spool before i went twins i think.

That will heat up your EGTS even quicker

The reason twins are reccomended is not just for power, but the further compressed air you get out of twins will also drop your EGTS.. Water or Methanol injection is also beneficial and wont be as bad on your EGTS.

I want 500 RWHP and Daily Drivability, but i want cooler EGTS and a not so lag pig truck.. SO twins would probably be my best bet.....
