Do you have any gauges? A pyrometer is a must before you add fuel

Mount the gauges wherever you like , you should have (for youe truck) a pyrometer , and a boost gauge at the minimum , throw in a tranny temp gauge and it will fill up a 3 gauge pillar pod.

Check the DTR online store , and check with the DTR vendors, they can hook you up with just about anything you can imagine.

And JMO , ditch that K&N filter before it dusts your engine , they do not filter good enough.... I would also put in a #10 plate, it seems to be the best all around plate, and i will say from experience, it makes a BIG difference.

I had an #8 plate slid up a bit with no pyro for a while. It was a real eye-opener when I installed the pyro and watched it climb past 1300*.

I noticed you have a fresh trans. Is it beefed up at all? A great combo for a stock trans is a #10 plate with a 3K GSK. The 10 plate has a smoother ramp up to where you start making power which gives the tranny time to build up pressure to hold it. Don't get carried away with sliding the plate and your tranny should take it. Try to avoid getting on it with the TC locked up in OD at low RPM's.

You do need at least a pyro before you start bombing your truck. They're a lot cheaper than a set of pistons.

Price?

Put some money towards a good pyro first and just FYI there is a 10 plate on the classifieds here for 100 bucks, that is a good price, Or if you want a free plate you can always grind the one you already have to whatever profile you want it to be. The 100 and the 0 plates are usually custom ground for free by owners of vehicles, but your driveline will not appreciate you much for it.. lol

I'd recommend sticking with a milder plate-- #10 or #11.

#10 is known for its smoothness, while still capable of making big power.
