Storx, how are you breaking so much stuff? Mine has held up with little or no issues at 677rwhp for the last three months. Trust me I have put my foot into it a few times.

why not speak with Goerend Bros., the ones who built your tranny, and get recommendations from them?

These trannies are pretty tuff considering that they where designed to run on 200rwhp engines. I have pull some big boost numbers but nothing close to 70psi. I would be taking the tranny back and get the shop to findout what going on with that tranny. Your pulling some big numbers but I wouldn't let that be an excuss for your tranny issues.

see goerend bros has sent me all the billet parts... upgrades and suck but he is use to trucks the tow a lot.. and are not under max acceleration for 1/4 mile runs haha... he builds a tuff tranny and all his parts are good... but he told me himself that im the first person to tear up one of his triple disk converters.....he ios trying to help me also but everything we keep trying either leads to something else breaking or not wokring as planned... he is really trying i give him this.. he send me parts free overnight.. on his expense because ive broken stuff at the track... i never would expect that from any other tranny shop.....so i thought i would ask while i wait for him to play with setup for my tranny so i can throw ideas his way.. see when he designed my tranny and torque converter he tests these off od a big block chevy engine he has rigged up putting like 800's hp and like 1100's torque... and im running numbers higher then that so im going beyond what he has designed most of his stuff to be reliable up to......im not trying to make his stuff sound weak or horrable at all.. if it wasnt for him i would be in a lot serious problems right now..... i use to have a ats/ats converter setup and it was GARBAGE FROM THE START... and they wouldnt even do the warranty work because i was running to high of torque for what there tranny was rated that they failed to mention before hand....

At least he's trying to make it better. Dave's a great guy and has a warranty that is second to none. I'm sure he'll make it right.

Storx,

Sounds like you are on the right track. Did you by chance save your time slips?

yeah i have my time slips why?......
also the local tranny shop went ahead and bought a 48re valve body the owner wants to play around with it and see if the 48re valve will hold better in the 47res because they are the same price and he will just start using them now on for rebuild units.....

Why? No big deal just wanted to see the 60' and 1000' numbers. Glad things are working out for you. As you are going to find out there are several other things you will have to address and readdress if you plan on utilizing that hp.

oh trust me ive already started to plan for it and have experienced it... im thinking of stopping on the truck.... as the summer starts to get back i will have more work to haul with the truck and i really need to stop pushing the limits of the truck haha.... but anyways i just got myself a new toy im working on.... well have been working on.. still have yet to get the thing running due to the technical difficulties we are having on the wiring harness.... Its a 1999 Black VW Jetta Golf GL..... which was in really nice condition with the wide body kit and gun metal rims dropped to the ground. It had a blown engine and i picked it up for 500 bucks localy......then i bought a Euro YVR 2.0 PTDI engine from Europe with the 6 speed manaul used with 40k miles.......really cheap from a engine importer on ebay..... we have custum fabricated the engine into the car and all and have yet to put the hood on because the engine sits to high.. so im going to modify the hood after we get it running but with the new turbo, injectors, chip i picked up according to the TDICLUB.com members after they help me tune it will put 230HP, 350-450 TQ to the ground. The one guy who is helping me convert it runs this setup in his VW Jetta and impressed the hell out of me. So far i have spent

500.00 Car
2,200.00 Engine/Tranny
550.00 Tunable~~HackTop ecu
150.00 P550 injectors
200.00 130mm Pump
125.00 Reman Turbo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4,175.00 on a possable 11-12 sec diesel car when done.....
