Hello all. Gotta question for the hp junkies like myself out there. Found the truck im purty sure im gonna get, Its al lstock, Just lookin for what i would need and/or a good setup to reach the 400+ hp. Im new to diesels and im just not quite sure what they handel and stuff. Just lookin for advice on the whole drive train. From comps and injectors to the propanes or nitro to clutches and turbos and whatever else there is haha Thanks<br>

 

Stage III injectors, HX-40,BHAF,4&quot; exhaust,Comp Box,supplimental fuel pump, lots of guages, new automatic or clutch, and lots of money(2000-4000). :'(

Awesome thanks couple more questions though for the dumb@$$ what are HX-40,BHAF and a PowerMax 3?<br>and when you say supplimental fuel pump Does that mean to have 2 of them? or a new bigger one?

 

The HX-40 is a lrger Turbo, BHAF = Big Honkin Air Filter - the part numbers can be found in the FAQ section, a PM3 is a TST PowerMax3 it is an electronics box that alters the fuel rate and timing to increase the power of the 98.5 and new trucks similar versions ate the Edge Comp Box and FMS box.

 

Supplimental fuel pump means a holly black or equivelent pump to assist in supplying fuel pressure to your vp44 fuel pump.

Haha yep, the 1500's got 178,000 and is wearing out, i figure why replace it with the current 360, get the hemi and some extra hp haha. But thats comming after the new diesel depending on how much cash flow i have left :P
