Been thinkin about replacing the 3" straight pipe to a 5" tip with some 4" into a 6-7" single stack. Anyhoo, was wonderin if doin that would be pointless without gettin an upgraded downpipe. What's the common consensus on this?

 

I figure that any little extra bit helps, couldn't hurt.

 

You can get a downpipe for less than $100. Won't make much difference really tho. It reduces at the turbo with a 4" downpipe, or it would reduce at the end of the downpipe if you leave it stock.
