On the injectors there are 370's then 4 stages of honing after that, then you go to EDM's with 10 different versions of them......not stages but versions and it all depends on what the end customer wants and/or has, meaning Turbo/s, Pump, ect, honing is cheaper and will fit most all the crowd on both 12 and 24V but some are willing to spend the extra money for the EDM's as I did, if you want to talk stages then mine are a stage 10 being the biggest recommended for power and not smoke, can they be built bigger.....yes, can I make mine bigger.....yes, it's just a DV change but there designed and built for a softer bottom end then flow like crazy on the top end and there are several sets out there with both stock pumps and race pumps, the set I have ordered are a smaller version without every trick but will flow allot of fuel when pushed and he has had real good feed back on them, I'm glad I have a guy and a truck to play with that is a stocker pump.....we'll see what happends to the HP......what a test, and yes I paid a real price for mine in $ they wern't given or loaned to me.

Price........I don't talk prices.......not my deal!

370's for 285- 300 bucks are hard to overcome in a tight market.. Its enough fuel for 600 plus HP and they can net good mileage. Cold weather can make them white smoke some, but there are pump corrections and components to cure that.

Sure I have some ample injectors out there, but they are not for everyone and they cant be sold for 300 dollars.

My injectors have netted an authentic 800 HP using a single charger and an injection pump containing stock Bosch components in the proper combination. 1300 HP ( give or take a few for withholding of secrets reasons ) using multiple turbos and custom pump parts. The problem is....no one wants that or even needs that. I could count on two hands the number of people that have that need and so the market is just not there to keep it sustained.

Proper injectors are not the only key to HP, driveability, and smoke control. Adjusting the rest of the system that is behind them is paramount and can complete the steps to success.

The old 12 valvers are getting more economical to obtain, have many miles on them and most dont remain in the doubtful zone of improper spray patterns having negative effects over tens of thousands of miles.

My advice still remains ...get 370's for 300 bucks and allocate the saved money on improved/enhanced turbos, pumps, camshafts, and cylinder head work.

Thanks Jim

I know you wouldn't want to talk prices, I understand.

Don thanks for the info, I'm rethinking my goal for my truck. I'm thinking hard about putting twins on my truck this spring. The main reason is seeing that duramax pull 711HP + 1238 TQ and run mid 12s and I don't like that. I don't want to start another thread because it stills involves the injectors. What boost will my 12V take if I get the head O-Ringed and what gasket do you all thing I should use. I'm thinking I might just try to find a 12V head, have it ported + O-Ringed and ready to go when I buy TWINS, it will be one less high$ item done and out of the way.

I'm still going to install some injectors(don't know which ones) and my HTB2 now and then work towards head work+twins. I know you will point me in the right direction.

Thanks everyone and keep the info CUMMIN

I spoke with him the other day. It didn't sound like he offers much for street trucks. Mainly big HP pulling and competition guys.

Masonic, i am on the same path you are on. My ultimate is a stoopid pump and twins. Not going to happen right away so I am taking care of the other neccessary things first. I got the engine pulled and awaiting its transplant. Before that I am going to do the head and possibly a cam. I figured if I want twins I might as well take care of the head while the engine is pulled. Stildeciding on a cam but if I dont do it now I will probably regret having to tear everything apart again in the future. I got the head off last night and now I need to decide oring or fire ring. I might just take it down the Haisleys and have them rework it with some fire rings. What have you researched as far as Oring or fire ring?? Throw some ARP studs in with it and that should hold plenty of boost from the twins in the future. Keep me updated on your progress and will do the same.

Thanks for all the info from these threads. I really have learned alot from you guys.

I haven't got any info on the O-Ring or Fire ring, maybe someone can throw us some info on that. I did find out that the ARP 12mm studs will hold the boost we'll put to the head. I still would like to find a 12V head so I can get it redone and have it ready to go ( NO DOWN TIME ) I think I'm going to have the head done all-out so whatever I deside to go with in the way of power it will be able to handle it.

Keep me posted on any head info you come across.
