I was thinking of running 315's on stock wheels but wanted to see some pics of it first. I have a 2" leveling kit and have 33X12.50X16.5X9.75 on there now and they stick out pretty far and fling crap all down the sides of truck. Or would I be better off buying aftermarket 16X8's I think my stocks are 16X8

I have some in my gallery, too, and higher-def pix on my webpage: www.jimpointeronline.homestead.com

I think for the most part, if you go to aftermarket wheels the tires will stick out further than on the stock wheels. I'm not sure if you can tell from any of my photos or not, but I altered my Luverne mudflaps by adding a new bottom section that was wider and longer. That pretty much took care of the problem on the rear; on the front I need to rig a brake and bend the metal part a bit so the tires won't rub the flaps as I turn.

Edit: There are shots of the mudflaps in my gallery, but not with the larger tires.

With a second gen, YES-- run 315s. (IF you have 16x8s factory)

With a third gen-- no, unless you're comfortable running the lower pressures needed to get them to wear properly.

315's and the factory 16x8's rubbed like an SOB on my pickup, and that was with SJ D25's.

'01 Alloy wheels just have TOO MUCH back spacing.

Mine rub like hell too, that's why I want some aftermarket 16x8's, but I need a bigger charger first!
