Getting time for new tires. Not really but heck I want new tires so I may as well say they need it. Looking for feedback on what tires are good. I am interested in the Yokohama Geolanders, Nitto Grapplers or that type tire in the "D" load range.

Stay away from Yoko Geolanders, I have them on my truck and are very dissapointed with them. I have about 45000 miles on them and they are spent, I too need to get some new tires soon. Traction wise they work pretty well, but the life time is short lived.

I have Nitto terra Grabblers 305/70/16 s on 16/8" eagle rims. They were new on my truck when I bought it last year.

They seem like pretty good tires . I heard they are very good and seem to be wearing good.

They fit ok on the 8 " rims. Look good . Kind of wide. Im used to running big 35"/16.5 BF goodrich all terrains on 10" rims on my old truck.

If you want big Id get some 315/70 nittos on 10"rims . Im thinking maybe 285=295/75s on these 8" rims next time , Maybe taller and not as wide .

Heres a pic of my truck with the 305/70/16 nittos It aint the best pic of the tires but gives a general view

Not sure how important it is to you, but the Nittos don't self clean to well in THICK mud. Not that any A/T does, but they are worse than most.
