From 305/70/16 Pro Comp Xtreme to 315/75/16?

Well I just got some Pro Comp Extreme 305/70/16 tires last week, but I think I am gonna get some different ones. These tires look REAL good, but I don't need all that tread. My truck is kind of a hot rod so I don't want to be scared to peel out. Plus in reality they measure 31" not 33" as they advertised. So I think I am going to sell these, and I am thinking of going w/ a Kelly 315/75/16. I measured these on a guys truck and they were about 33s. I am planning on going w/ more of a street tread. With 315s does the truck wander any? How does the steering wheel feel? Is it sloppy? Also will they wear ok on my rims?

Thanks
Rick
The 315's will rub your lower control arm. The do tend to follow grooves in the pavement and give a bit of a wandering feeling. They might fit on your stock wheels depending what wheels you have. You would probably want to get some spacers or skyjacker D25 springs before putting tires that big on your truck. Also they may wear ok but I have no experience with those tires. My 315 BFG AT KO's wear well with 50 psi up front and 40 in the rears and lots of rotation.
JMHO
