275's or DDII's
Re:275's or DDII's
Scooter, my BAD! Sorry. I honestly didn't realize you had the guages and clutch, but since you do!!!! Woo Hoo!
Go for the 2s, and even STRONGLY consider going EDMs. With your existing comp, turn the box off or on 1x1 for towing and good mileage. My current setup with DD2s get 2.7mpg BETTER fuel economy (empty combined highway and town driving) than stock! This weekend will be the first major RV pulling since the last set of bombs, so I'll let you know mileage if you're interested.
REALLY, I apologize.

I'm sorry to Ol Blue. No excuses, but I'm on my 23 straight night at work. Thank you for the imput. I think the 2's will do, but I'll check the price on the others.
Re:275's or DDII's
DDII's!!!
I'm running (and it might be in my sig
) dd3's with the DDUFM and can manage EGT's just fine with my right foot. Last tank was 18.9 mpg and only my second with the DD3's. The more I bomb it the better the mileage gets--when I'm not making smoke!
I do NEED a turbo and better fuel pressure for the upper levels of performance.

Re:275's or DDII's
Wade I got the TURBO for you!!! I am taking off a brand new Diesel Dynamics HX 40 16 to put on twins. I don't know exactly how many miles on the turbo at present but I guess maybe 600 now ??? I have the 4" downpipe also
James
PS. With my DDIII's and that turbo I didn't have egt problems at all. Tall tires, tall gears and DTT auto are my biggest obstacles as far as smoke control when the smoke cops are around. If it weren't for my tires being so tall I wouldn't have a "get it rolling" smoke problem.

It doesn't need to be. I asked about injectors not gauges and clucth. It says I have a comp.

A frosty adult beverage to the first person to find gauges and a clutch in Scooter's sig:
2002 DRW, 6 speed, Quad cab, Comp,Staight pipe
1999 Grand Cherokee
2003 skidoo 800HO
2000 suzuki 400 DRZ
Sorry, no points for the misspelling or improper capitalization. :

Re:275's or DDII's
Scooter take a look at Don M's EDM injectors before making your choice! PM works well to contact Don. Heck of a nice guy and I guarantee you he isn't happy till you are.
