275's or DDII's
I need some imput. I am going to get injectors and would like everybody's input on the two. I do have a 24' trailer with 7000 lbs axles so I do haul, although not all the time. I average around 7000 lbs( trailer and load). Thanks for any input.

Gauges
Edge EZ
Banjo bolts
Clutch(maybe)
Rv275's
It will run sweet...but again my wifes 2k has an Edge EZ with DD II's. But it also has a DTT transmission too! With this combo and a PDR HX35/12 produces 353 hp to the ground..

You NEED to know about gauges and clutches when you look at new injectors.
If you go with DD2s you'll need both, along with timing and a boost module. Even with 275s gauges are strongly recommended on the ETH (Exhaust Temps High)!

Scooter
You sound a mite touchy, hope your feeling ok.
I have DDIIs and Edge EZ along with gauges and a SBC. My stock truck runs pretty good I have 326 HP and 799 Torq on a Dyno Jet. It pulls everything I hook to it very well. We have a 11K 5er and a 26 ft GN that on a recent trip to Iowa we picked up a old tractor that when I weighed in at a CAT scale we weighed just over 20K. That is me, my son, full tank of fuel, cooler with gatoraid/pop, tools, 2500 truck, trailer and tractor.
I know you didn't ask but I hope you have a good brake controler and my favorite add on on my truck is the exhaust brake. I went through the West Va turn pike with the 20 K load and did not have to use my brakes the exhaust brake did the work for me. I did push the pedal to let folks behind me know that I was slowing down.
As far as EGTs the highest on that trip was 1200. I am also running a 4 inch straight pipe exhaust and the BHAF. I have 4:10 gears and 315 BFG on my stock truck.
Hope this helps.
See Ya

Re:275's or DDII's
The worst was 9.?? with stop and go traffic on 35 in southern Ohio and the best was 13.?? That is pulling the 20k load and driving roughly 65. I don't really care to drive fast anymore and I don't when pulling trailers down the road. Some of my friends here on the coast tease me about needing a "slow moving vehicle" sign. ( ain't that right John_P)
My normal milage driving 55/60 to work I see roughly 18.
When we pull the 5er we have to put the stock tires back on due to the height difference. I try to keep the 5er as level as I can to put equal weight on both axles. My avarage towing it is 12 mph and that weighs in at 11K. The GN is set up to allow me to pull with the 315s.
I figure my milage the old way gals/miles driven.
Hope this helps
