24v p-pumped?
24v p-pumped?
Has anyone P-pumped a 24v? About what is the cost? How does it perform? Is the process hard to do? Can you tell a difference? Just looking for some feedback, thanks!
yes its been done, dont know how hard but dont think its to bad, performs great. get the better breathing of a 24v and the unlimited fueling of a 12v. now its not great for all apps but if ur looking for as much performance as you can posibly get then thats the setup to have
If your going to the dyno day at Mikes Custom Truck , N. Dakota , this week end , 2 days , sat. dyno , sun pulls .
You could talk to him , he has done it , also a bunch of others have also .
Last yr Mike had a P-pumped 24v on an eng. dyno , to swap turbos , for demo , but he got so busy that he was not able to finish .

I see you're from WI. try Scheid Diesel in Effingham, IL. They have a P-pump conversion, but it is expensive. You'll need a P7100 pump for a core as you can not swap out a VP-44 for a P7100. I think it is around $3500 for a full conversion with labor. There is also a place in Joliet, IL called Heavy Metal Performance. Really good group of guys and they know their stuff on Cummins and fairly reasonable in labor.
