P-Pumped 24v pulling ?'s

So I pulled my truck for the first time today and I wouldn't say that I was totally disappointed but I was not impressed either. I still have the factory gov. spring in and I think is hurting me b/c the truck will only rev to 2800-3000rpms. As before w/ the vp I could hit 3300-3500. Also I am running a aeromotive a-1000 lift pump wich I think is ok but I am sucking the fuel from the factory hose out of the tank and the fitting going into the pump is I think 1/4", b/c I have a 3/8" fuel line w/ a barb in it. The return line banjo bolt I was told should be changed for one w/ a smaller hole, is this true? And finally the injectors have not been repopped for the p-pump is this hurting me? Thanks in advance for all of the help.

You need gov. springs, my 4k kit is reving to 4800+ also you prolly need bigger dv's. Injectors are fine the way they are, what do you have the timing set at. I am still drawing out of the stock fuel tube with more than enough fuel to fuel an s-400

I have not done the swap yet but my understanding is that the injectors need the pop off pressure reset, the 24vp pumps at a higher pressure than the p7100. I would check on it, it could be hurting your power alot, and definitly need to turn it harder [ how about those valve springs dont forget them ].

good luck

its mostly the gov. springs, they don't let you get any rpm and will not fuel as hard in the upper rpm as a 4k or 5k kit

don't worry about the pop pressures...

put in some gov. springs... not sure what DV's you have? may need to go bigger. But your next issue may be fuel pressure with your fuel inlet setup. Watch the gauge at full load and see what it does.
