my neighbor pulled the rugged trail ta's off his 04 at 93k miles, they would still pass inspection. i mounted them on a set of rims for some street tires for my zuk. and for the way they wear i find them to be well worth a extra 30 bucks.

The 17's would fit but why would you want them?

They are made by BF Goodrich and a 235/85-16E is $ 83.00. I can fill my dually with less than $ 350.00 installed, balanced, etc.

I suggest them to many.

Thaye have larger tires, but rate drops to D not E
I'm thinking of going this route, too.

The reason I went to the 17's is because I got the complete brand new set of rims with Michelin's plus the spare for $400 from a guy who went from the dealer to the shop for a lift kit and different wheels. I use them in the summer and go back to the 16's with 235/85 in the winter.

Got my 17"s for $500 with new Rugged Trail tires. Got $350 for my 16"s on E-bay. Personaly I think the 17s look better than the old 16's.
