I have a headache trying to research all of these different lifts...Anyone with a lift between 4-6 inches with OEM rims, please post your brand of lift, the height, and your thoughts about it.

I've only had one lifted vehicle, a 1989 3/4 ton Suburban gasser, I went with Rancho for the price, but I don't want to skimp too much this time.

I am pretty sure you can run 37's on the stock wheels, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks, how do you like the lift itself? Does Superlift give color options to your knowledge? I couldn't find anything of that sort on their site.

 

My dodge is silver.

All parts come powdercoated black. Its a good kit. But the SL coil springs are notorious for sag over time(only a little) and a stiff ride. Balances a lifted truck well around curves, but it is stiff. I liked it and it rode very good on the SL springs. Just get the bilstein shocks as an upgrade.

 

I was referring to the second pic, the lowered white one with the flame grill.

I don't mind stiff, but I want to stress that I want less rollover on offramps and such.

 

Oh yeah, I didn't even see that truck and its light puke green.


For less rollover, SL springs will do the trick. They make them a little stiff for that purpose, stability.

 

4" lift, 37s, stock wheels

(And yes, it does kiss the control arms at full lock, but thats it for rubbage)
