12V max fuel ?

What other "little" things can I do to my 215hp pump to get the most fuel possible out of it without having to send it to a shop. I so far have no plate in it, about 4200 rpm spring kit, excessively cut DV's, and gutted afc housing.

About any shop can cut DV's as far as you want. I wasn't aware that the gov. adjustment was useful without a plate or afc control. SS

how much timing are you planing on running, i would think without a plate you will need a bunch to burn the fuel that will be going in late.

Somewhere between 25* and 30*. This is a pull only truck. I've run 29* in my other 97' and knock was pretty bad but top end was unreal. I put it back down to 22* for daily driving. SS

I have no Idea how dvs work but I know mine are small. They can be cut down right? How much to be equivilent to a 181 or191? Is this possible? Sorry no access to a lazer but I can use a lathe. I cant afford to run out and buy all the fancy $hit so I have to try and make it myself unfortunatly I am lacking in diesel knowledge...

DV's, short for Delivery Valves.

Do you know how much HP you are making now? Do you have a goal you are looking for? I seen Jeff Garmon make 710hp (uncorrected and #2 only) with a 215 pump so the fuel is there to get.
