In Rockingham July 19th at our Division 2 race I ran two passes of 12.08 @ 113mph in the Garmon Dakota. Testing the track for traction, I ran 12.9, 12.5, 12.3, 12.08 then never ran slower than 12.1 until we started racing. The 28&quot; Street ET's are killing my top end, I need more tire. My 60ft still is not up to par at a high 1.8 to low 1.9 and my 1/8 mile is a 7.7 @ 91mph. <br><br>Jeff has done an awesome job tuning this engine. Still running mostly junk parts. Stock HX40, 370's, Jeff's pump mods. No O-ring head or anything fancy. Last dyno run was 467/913 and I added another 20-30hp before Rockingham but have not proved that on the dyno yet. <br><br>Jeff broke his tranny on his first launch. Was off to a good pass when he snapped one of the shafts probably at about the 500ft mark. He turned a 6.9 at 90 mph in the 1/8th and a 12.33 @ 77mph coasting out the end. His 10.70 passes are 6.8's at 102 in the 1/8 so I am hoping he would have made a 10.50 or so pass had he held together. What is really wild is if Jeff did snap an input or output shaft, it will be his first one. <br><br>So, my goal of 12.00 in the Dakota, drug free, one Hx40 is within reach, the DRIVER just needs to get the rest of the HP to the track.<br><br>

 

Cool David. Power to weight ratio on that Dakota is nice.<br>So is being able to have a somewhat mild combo and go in the 12's.<br><br>Don~
