AMSOIL seems to be the best way to go as far as oil in the CTD. What major mods would I need to do (e.g. bypass filter, etc) and how much is it to send samples and get them analyzed? Any help would be appreciated!

While I am an AMSOIL dealer and have used their products for some 20 odd years or so, that does not mean they are the best. There are other synthetics out there as good or better and some dino oils are very good. I like the big A and there is a warehouse 35 miles up the road from me. Some may not be able to get it that easily.

I mounted the dual remote down on the core support under the radiator and bought the billet adapter and stainless braided hoses from a guy in New Jersey if I remember right. That is a very good quality set up he has there. I have posted pics of my set up in the Member Photos section under dieseldude4x4's pics and hobbies. This fellow in NJ also makes a very nice battery mount kit.

I use Analysists Inc in Illinois or some place out there and it cost $15 for a sample and about a buck or two to send them the sample.
