I just bought a 03 freightliner RV for parts with good engine and R/G. It's a 5.9 pusher, I'm thinking it's probably a common rail engine being an 03. My question is, does a common rail system have injectors and if so, can I use them in my 00 24V truck?

 

I have no idea if an 03 Freightshaker chassis would have a CR or not but the CR does have injectors(?) and they are not compatible with 2nd gen 24v injectors.

 

Thanks. I just got the title on the vehichle friday and its actually an 04. I bought it with the understanding that it was an 03 but I guess they made a typo somewhere. I still dont have it here yet though, waiting on a wrecker that can gring it. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
