4th annual (Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter Fall Time Meet n’ Greet.

4th annual (Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter Fall Time Meet n’ Greet.

November 23, 2008 @ Noon

Ok everyone seeing how winter is almost upon here in the Northeast part of the U.S. we thought (I talked it over with DTroy Tony) that now would be as good of a time as ever to have our annual Fall meet n’ greet up here in beautiful N.E.P.A. so we could all get together and shoot the proverbial crap and have lunch and whatnot and maybe even hit a local casino right down the road (Sorry Abby NO PETS ALOWED).

Im going to say that the time 12 noon and the location will be the Petro Truck Stops - Location Information - Iron Skillet, Petro:Lube, Travel Stores, Mobil Delvac, Truck Tires, PM Services, Diesel, CAT Scales, Blue Beacon Truck Washes as it has been for the past few events we have had. Lots of parking and good food for everyone.

I will make a phone call to the manager Peter down there and we can get the back room all to ourselves and we can just order off the menu like we always do.

Im going to try to put together a list so I have a number to give to the Peter @ The Petro so then know how many to expect. So let me know if you’re going to be there even if you are tentative let me know with a yes anyway.

The two things that I ask of everyone is one, try to bring a friend to see what this sickness is all about. And two treat the property at the Petro with respect because we are guests of theirs and we want to be welcome back.

This show isn’t only for diesel trucks, but everyone is welcome to bring whatever they drive and come have fun for a few hours.
So we hope to see you all there.

Rob

Update:

I spoke to the manager of the Petro, the back room we were in last time has laready been booked so we will be in the next area that used to be the smoking area. He said he will reserve that area for us to use.

Would anyone be interested in biodiesel? I've been brewing for ~6 months and am running 100% most of the time. I'm making it in 40 gallon batches and it's passing the 3/27 test. I'm getting the WVO from 2 chinese restaurants that both use soy bean oil.

For those interested, let me know (PM please, as I may forget to check this thread). $3/gallon (in 5 gallon increments).

If people are interested, I'll try to bring as much as possible since I'll be running a lower blend for the winter (probably B50 w/additive), so I'll start to have excess. I have enough containers to bring ~30 gals with me.

Note: If you have never run biodiesel in your truck (or rarely do), make sure you have a spare fuel filter handy, as biodiesel is a natural solvent and will loosen up any gunk in your lines and possibly clog your filter.

Just gonna bump this thread with a quick request.

My buddy is planning on coming and is in need of a front bumper for his '02 after taking out a deer. If anybody has anything available, please let me know or bring it along.

See ya there

He would probably prefer a chrome, but is just trying to find a replacement for less $$$ than going out and buying another aftermarket.

Doesn't look like snow Sunday, so I guess we might luck out. Still gonna be chilly though, but that is NEPA in November
