Your first 5 minutes at Marine Corps Recruit Depot
Is this real?
How many weeks does it last until they treat you like a Marine?
Is this anyone we know?
Why is the Drill Instructors shirt 2 sizes too small?
I was starting to loose my voice just listening to him.

Madhat Mark ought to be able to validate this next time he checks in. I seem to remember that when he gets back to the States he is going to do a tour as a recruiter.

You get out of life what you put into it......
I think they get the respect at graduation when they actually become Marines, and are Marine's for life.
Hopefully, the next generation of America's Leadership pool!!
Hot dryer? No seriously, when I was in great shape, I'd wear tighter t-shirts too! Just to give the girls something to look at you know....
Not an expert, here, just what I have picked up from the Marines I have been honored to know.

I can't see it... not youtube in Afg because of the peeing on bodies incident...
If it's on youtube, it's probably staged or toned down. I did some wild stuff when I was a hat.
Not going to be a recruiter... I might be a DI again...

Looked real to me. In fact it looked like a toned down version of getting off the bus at Ft Polk in 73.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Oh, and can I get one those guys issued to me for day to day stuff? I could use one of them when I go to the store and deal with the ignorant general public.

Shorts! I'm surprised by you! I thought your hubby was a squid, err, I mean a Navy man! What would he think if he knew you were eying jarheads? LOL! I have to admit, I always had better "luck" with the ladies as a Marine, than as a Soldier! Maybe it was because I was a little older when I was in the Marines, and had been "around the block" a few times!
