HUH????? NO COFFEE????? What is there about life you don't understand???? Life does not start until coffee - - preferably foo foo. Now, if you wish to open this place again, do it right. And the foo foo pot was in the cabinet instead of behind the john. Shhheeeessshhhh Thanks for thinking of us Josh.

Hey, we do appreciate cleaning the place up a bit, but where is the old sock - -can't make coffee without it. I am in the right place, right???

OK, have made my speech, gonna go feed my puss - - good church this morning - - very good. Now mama has din din on and hollerin, so better go - - takin the foo with me. Have fun,

Bob

Howdy all, thought I'd drop in here again.
Wannabe, sounds like you need to be carrying something that can propel a 1/2" piece of lead at multiple hundreds of feet per second if your just going to step out the back door.

I'll tell ya, this town I'm in here in Massachusetts is changin' so fast now that I can't believe it. Grew up here an' now I don't recognize anybody or anyTHING. Went to a new restaurant last night, (s'posed to call it a 'Cafe' I guess), and for $34 got this wimpy little hard crusted bread thing that they're tryin' to pass off as a sandwich. The menu, (which should have clued me in to the kinda place it was... no prices in it), said 'chicken rajoule wrap, a delightful sandwich with our own mixture of seasonings, cheese and dressings wrapped in'... I dunno what else it said. I just saw 'chicken' and 'sandwich' and figured I was safe. This 'sandwich' was this piece of chicken about the size of a quarter in what looked like a dinner roll that had been sliced in half. There was something on it that looked like cottage cheese, (white and lumpy), but was rubbery and stunk like my socks. The other thing I had ordered was their 'home made potato chips'. I got them... all 3 of them. Granted, they were about 1/4" thick but still, when I order chips, I want CHIPS! MANY chips, not so few that I can count them. We now have 14 restaurants in a town of 6000 in 9 square miles, (as if we need that many!), and of all those places, people are raving about this dive the most. I can't see the attraction myself. 'Course, mosta the people in town now wear neatly pressed Chino's, alligator shirts and dock shoes, so it's prob'ly me. Glad I moved away tho, I don't fit in anymore.

Well, at least a few people are showin' up in here now. And at least there'll be a reason the place turns into a pig sty in less than 4 hours!

Mornin' coffee is now the evenin' coffee... it wasn't all gone yet.

Good evening everyone. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I'll take a cold glass of sweat tea anyday! Been busy all week and all weekend, its about time for a break. I've been out of the shop and in the field all week working on a Loco with a blown oil cooler. Talk about a mess! We're pullin' the power assemblys so we can clean the sludge out of the block. Looks like another long week ahead of me. Good news is the girlfriend came back from San Jose CA last night after a weeks vacation. I picker her up from the airport in the city, and the people up there don't seem to like the sound of a straight piped cummins! She was out there visiting a friend and possibly looking for a new job too. Both of us want to relocate to a better climate. Thats all for now.

Yo, Matt... your job sounds cool...

The people at the 4 star that we stayed at in Orlando did not like my straight pipe, either.

Scott... what do you mean sucking up? He did not suck up to me...???

What do you want? I gave you the title that you wanted, even though it's a fib...

Bout to go cut my hair... and take a nap... See ya'll.

He agreed with you when he said, "the break room could not ever be more fitting." If it walks like a duck...

Deal! Make me a pitcher everyday and I'll come by and drink it!

Madhat, yeah It is a pretty cool job. Somedays have more excitement than others but work is always steady. I really enjoy working on large diesels. I would like to eventually move up and work for a Class 1 RR like the BNSF or the UP but for now the little Shortline RR is fine.
