Hey folks, I've had to close my NAPA store and move on. Took a job long hauling for now (gotta pay the bills) but I'll drop in whenever I can. (every couple of weeks or so)

30 some trucks with Cummins in them and I end up with a Cat. Go figure.

Sorry to hear about your store. Hope all works out for you, and the bills get paid on time. As for the Cat, make friends with a Cummins driver, get him a little loose one night with liquid courage, and trade him trucks!! Hope to see you back with us soon.

Sorry to hear of your problems, been there and done it. Good luck in your endeavors.

 

Glad you had something to fall back on. Don't be a stranger, you'll be able to tell us about all the characteristics of the Cat.

Hi guys, thanks. Left last Friday at 0500 to get to work for 0700. Left Winnipeg @ 1600 (long annoying story) for Cascade IA, then to Monticello IA for a load to Parry Sound ON, then to North Bay to rescue a load for Montreal PQ, then to Edmonton. I'm home for the Thanksgiving weekend (Canadian eh?) and then carry on to Edmonton for Tues AM.

Cat C-12 should not be in Class 8 trucks. This one has a 3.70 gear and it sure didn't like the hills of NW Ontario.

From Friday when I left to Friday when I got home, with one day parked for sleepytime, 6833km, 4270mi.

If I am in your neighbourhood and know it, I just might. We have authority for Canada and 49 states, but I don't know if we run to Alaska. If I end up there, I'll say hi. Rick

Well i guees you can drive to Hawaii then ;D You said 49 states What do you guy's think

 

Thats what I said. Lower 48 and Alaska = 49. But I don't know that we go to Alaska. I'll check with the office. But come January, I might be convinced to put the thing on a ferry to Hawaii ;D ;D.

 

Now it they would just build a bridge over the Bearing straights.... hmmm
