Halo light around ignition won't go off...draining battery

As the title says....my ? is how can I disconnect this light? I did a search but didn't find what I needed.

Down by your parking brake under the dash you will find a small silver round cylinder it is the Halo light timer, unplug it and the light will go out.
Be careful it will be HOT if the light has been for any amount of time.

Probably,
It is a thermal timer and it is supposed to time out after the door is opened and closed again.
I would check NAPA for one.

Hot **** I love this board. My light is A-OK but does anyone else think "Man, look at my high tech '93 (insert year) truck, even the ignition switch lights up!".



Not a day goes by where I don't enjoy driving this big pig around.
