Windows Media Player Help

Lately, whenever I click on a video link that isn't mpeg, I get a new window, a beep, and that's it. Any of you computer guys know what's going on? Thanks for the help.

Open up windows explorer. Click on tools then folder options. Click file types. There you will get a list of every file extention and what program opens it by default. Check the types of files that you are having trouble and make sure the right program is opening them.
