As I try to get to know many of you through, viewing profiles, signatures, and even being able to instantly recognize you from your avatar. I have found that many don't post a profile or location, many have no avatar, and many have no signature.

Are many of you secretive? Do you just not know? I get a laugh at some guys locations, but it makes it difficult to have a feel for where everybody is, if you know what I mean.

I don't think identity theft is a big problem on here but then again what do I know. I give my real name out to guys I PM. Maybe that makes me secretive.

I am not trying to ruffle any feathers or torque any body off but I want to be able to see who you are and where you’re at. After all we are a big family, at least that’s how I view all of my more than 46,000 friends on here.

I didn't have one for a while when I transfered jobs, but I think they are important here. Even if they are just of an object...

 

I didn't quite understand.

 

Not everybody comes to DTR to find a family, many members are just here to get (or give) information about a truck. And that's OK.

Some people are just very private, and I can understand that. This is a public site that anyone can view, we don't have a members-only area like a lot of sites.

 

I don't have a problem with people knowing that I'm Nick, and live in Tulsa, lots of the guys on here already know that. I just haven't had the location as Tulsa, or the details of my truck in my sig for reasons unknown to me for a while...

And I have a few on here I consider as friends, but for the most part I'm here for the truck info. To learn, and hopefully teach.
