i am looking at the PDF's off the Dodge builder website.

i put 05 seats in my 06.

so printed out all the dwg's, and GUESS WHAT!?!? you can't tell which darn year is which now.

gotta look them up again,
print them out, and immediately write on them which year.

how stupid. this is no way to run a railroad....

unless you want to run it into the ground.

BTW, who owns DC this week? is it Ford again?

probably because they have access to their MRP system and they know what drawing go with what part and year model.

I will try to find out for you. We have about five ex-chrysler engineer's at work. How are those wheels working out for you?

at our work, we usually print out the individual page, then carry that page around to Ohm out the cables, and do pin outs. write notes on, record voltages, readings. it's just a easy way to keep track of where you are.

i would assume the mechanics would do the same, get on whatever system they have, and print out the page to work on that problem.

but i would hate for my livelihood and feeding my family to depend on the PDF's on the dodgebuilder site, and you can only assume they are the same the Tech's get at the dealership.

they seem to have some mistakes, and often are not laid out intuitively (like having the layout on the sheet match the physical layout in the vehicle)

8w-47-3 is a good example, it seems to have the wrong connector numbers, and it could just as easily have been laid out to match the physical layout of the parts as installed.

Kipper - my wheels look good!! stopped at the Ladson Baseball benefit car wash this morning, got 3 of the 4 rims washed!

ask them if there is some key i am missing on the PDF's to figure out what year is what. there are some numbers at the bottom, but they appear to be nonsensical.

Mama is ready for the 05 seat heaters to work in her 06 pickup, or i will be her EX.

an excellent example.....

8W-63-4 (the heated seat tech diagram PDF) has all the outputs of the switch grounded. so much for quality control at Dodge's design department...

also, the switch has two lights, but only one shown.
