anyone have the windshield out of thier truck?

hi fellas

just wondering if anyone had the windshield out of their truck. if so can you do me a favor and measure the distance between the bottom of where the glass goes and top of the roof where the windshield gasket sits? i think its about 22 1/2". just curious, i had my measurements written down before i cut my roof apart and seem to have lost them. i came up with the 22 1/2" when i clamped the panel back in place.

thanks in advance

Justin

ill be sure to post pics once im done welding everything back together too

I got 22 13/16" opening from flange to flange directly up from the right wiper post.

Mind you this is on an 81 crew, but it should be the same. I can also measure a 77 crew, but all my late 80s and early nineties have glass in them

cool, greatly appreciate you taking the time to measure. ill double check everything, measure the glass measure the gasket and make sure its all gonna work. ill probably tac the piece then do a mock fit of putting the glass into place to make sure i have the correct opening before i weld. thanks again!
