Dummy! You got me!

Cabin's about 15-20 minutes from here. http://www.cadillacmichigan.com/

Closest gas station is about 4 miles. 8 miles to the nearest watering hole. Have a couple close neighbors but they're weekenders. Nearest full timer is within a mile. Good guy. We have to team up on our lane to keep it plowed. Long drive to work, but it's worth it.

Mt. Airy Maryland here. 'bout 30 Miles West of Baltimore and 30 miles North of the District of Confusion (DC). Just moved up here in Nov. from Bethesda.
Mt. Airy is growing by leaps and bounds, Avg. cost of house is around $600K.
I build houses in the Chevy Chase/Bethesda area on 7500 sqft lots. Six years ago, we were selling 5 BR houses in Bethesda for $700K..flash forward to 2005..same house is now $1.6 Mil, and we sell them as fast as we build them.
Diesel hasn't gone below $2.19 for quite a-while.

Live in the "Coastal Bend" of Texas...appx midway between Houston and Brownsville.
Diesel has just taken a dime drop to 1.75/gal in some spots. (hooray!)
Summers are insufferably hot/humid but with lots of saving wind! Winters are... What winters!! Oh well, excuse the White Christmas we just had... We'll never have one of those again...
Corpus Christi is in Nueces County texas.. THE most litigious county in the whole state!
This county usually votes with the "blue" counties... Go figure...
Another private (non-county funded) hospital just filed for CHap 11 because of too many uninsured/indigent patients.
Definitely NOT a good place to start a medical practice!!! The Atty to MD ratio is getting worse all the time...
If ya got a good job down here, better keep it, because there are not that many anymore in the area!..
Great retirement area especially if you are RV'ers and aren't fond of snow...
Hope you like heat and humidity...

I was born and raised in Palestine Texas. (east Texas). Lived in Huntsville Texas for -+ 20 years. Currently in SoTexRAttlers neck of the woods about 18 miles from Corpus Christi. And where is that 1.75 fuel? I am paying 1.85 in Engleside. I full time RV following work. Just spent 1 1/2 years in Virginia and about the same before that in Prattville Ala. Both great places. Wife and I are getting antsy to hit the road again. Looks like either Oklahama or Nebraska. Don't want to spend the summer here! In July and August you get hot water from either tap!

LIke diesel Dave I live in Northern Nevada. I am in the country with 4 homes and nothing but rolling hills for about three miles in any direction. About the 1st thing you come across leaving my home is the houses of ill repute- it's legal here you know.
Nevada is awesome. I can holster a concealed pistol, hop in my dune buggy and drive down to the local house of ill repute ( if I was so inclined) and it would all be legal. In California I would have just committed 3 felonies.

diesel currently at 2.09 - 2.19 a gallon

Johnstown, ah yes, home of the famous brick works (use to be years ago anyway) and the run-away mountain. And the inclined plane.
